Offshore Services

ESNAAD Offshore Services Division primarily looks after the affairs of the operations and maintenance of marine fleet. Currently ESNAAD Offshore Services Division manages a total of 52 Vessels of different Activities. We have AHTSs, SSRVs, TSMs, DSVs, PSVs, Utility, DP I and DP II vessels operating in Abu Dhabi offshore area and planning to extend our services to the near-by countries.

ESNAAD takes pride in providing world-class marine logistic support services to the needs of the offshore Oil & Gas industry in the UAE and our neighboring countries.

ESNAAD currently manages 52 owned and managed vessels which are providing different types of services to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients. The operation teams are managing vessels owned by some of the leading companies in the offshore industry.

All vessels are well maintained with the major IACS members-Classifications Societies and supported by in-house highly qualified Engineering/Maintenance team coupled with suitably equipped electronic, electrical, mechanical and fabrication workshops. Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality issues are given utmost priority by the Company.

Crew members and other personnel trained accordingly, adherence to policy attested by the accreditation of the International Safety Management (ISM) Code since 1995.

ESNAAD works hard every day to provide the safest and most reliable services to the offshore market through its different operation teams.

The Company recently embarked on five years Fleet Extension Plan, estimated to cost US$ 400 million, with the aim of supporting our fleet with additional 30 DP II vessels acquiring new modern technology. 10 DP II PSVs have been already ordered to Shipyard De Hoop and will be delivered by early 2015. This will be followed by 9 new AHTS, 4 DSVs, 4 SRTs and 2 Straight Supply and other vessel types. The new PSV design will have the highest possible DNV Environmental Regularity Number (ERN) score of quadruple 99. This represents the highest score in optimal use of all thrusters and the effect of a single-thruster failure or the worst-case single failure(s). These series of vessels are primarily designed for offshore supply purposes; they can also serve as a basis for a wide array of other offshore support services, such as stand-by and firefighting services.

ESNAAD keep on phasing out the old and aged fleet and replacing them with new vessels. We are in the final stage of building new vessels to replace the old vessels.

Our plans will lead to extend the number of fleets more than 70 in the upcoming years. Our new build vessel specification not only according to the local market’s requirements, but also to the international demands. By achieving this, ESNAAD looking forward bigger opportunities outside the gulf area result in expand the company position from domestic operator to a global one.

In the Sustainability Field, we have been reporting the sustainability performance since 2009. For the first time, last year we issued our first sustainability report to all stake holders demonstrating our top commitment towards the environment and the society.

Over the last few years ESNAAD achieved a major milestone in security standard when succeeded to get certification for ESNAAD Port facility and ISPS Code (International Ship and Port Security) for all fleet. Close coordination with ESNAAD security made ESNAAD logistic supply base an “Ideal Business Environment” in terms of enhancing Supply Chain Security Management of the offshore fields.

ESNAAD is leaving no stones unturned in order to contribute towards a greener marine environment. At both manufacturing and administrative levels, ESNAAD is taking advantage of the latest technologies to ensure that new ships contribute as low as possible to global pollution. ESNAAD interested in promoting an environmental profile by adopting the new CLEAN DESIGN notation in all new built vessels.

Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan (SEEMP) is used for obtaining energy savings through the most optimal trim, route, speed, and engine rpm in all ESNAAD fleet. This is ESNAAD’s commitment in the fight against climate change.

ESNAAD is devoted to satisfy its clients as the best offshore service provider company, committed to building energy efficient ships with latest technological superiority. ESNAAD has been making also significant progress in creating sustainable employment opportunities different nationalities.

Although MLC 2006 is not mandatory, ESNAAD is proactively implementing the high standards of safe and secure workplace where safety standard are compiled with fair terms of employment, decent living and working conditions including social protection with MLC-2006.

In January 2012 the Quality Management System at ESNAAD became an Integrated Management System (IMS) incorporating ISO 9001:2008; ISO 14001:2004 & OHSAS 18001:2007. In March 2013 Business Continuity was introduced to the standard of ISO 22301:2012 for Business Continuity.

Offshore Services – HSE Timeline of Activities

1995 ESNAAD-Offshore Services Division launched its Own Health, Safety and Environment Management System. Our HSE-MS Complies with the IMO-ISM Code And ADNOC Guidelines.

1998: Awarded The International Safety Management System, Document Of Compliance (ISM-DOC).

1999: Awarded The International Safety Management System - Safety Management Certificate (ISM-SMC).

ISO 9001/ 2000 Quality Management System Certified Since June 2002.

All vessels have a Certification for the International Ship and Port Security (ISPS) Code (Port& Marine).
